Having a separate password for GTalk?

Today, after i have enabled 2-step verification for GMail, i discovered that i can set a separate password for my gtalk client.

Last time i checked it was not possible to have different passwords for Gmail and gtalk. I wanted that to be able to set up my GTalk client and to not compromise my email password.

Now I have different passwords for Gmail, Thundebird and my Android device:
